CEO, Financial, Administrative and Professional Services Training Council (FAPSTC)

Sector: Business

Member Type: Sector Representative

Tracey leads FAPSTC, the Western Australia skills advisory body providing strategic advice on matters relating to workforce and skills development in finance and corporate services, professional services, property services, and public services and safety.

She joined the organisation in 2021 as Industry Engagement Manager and was appointed CEO in 2024. Before this, she spent eight years in an industry development role at FutureNow, a leader in workforce development in the creative, leisure and technology sectors in WA. Tracey began her career in market research, focusing on fast moving consumer goods, financial services, and utilities, later specialising in the travel and tourism industry.

Her career encompassing market research and industry engagement in training councils has yielded well developed stakeholder engagement and consultancy skills. Tracey is undeniably a people person; her strength lies in engaging with people in an inclusive way that elicits their honest and authentic perspectives, which in turn contributes to an aggregate viewpoint and produces strategic insights to address industry’s problems.

Tracey brings extensive experience in and understanding of traineeship policy, labour market dynamics, and training package updates, specifically the Business Services and Financial Services packages.

She has a passion for discussions around improving financial literacy in all pockets of the West Australian community, and a keen interest in human resources planning, particularly employee relations and the people and culture function.

Her most important job is the doting mum (and chauffeur) to two dance-obsessed daughters. She lives in Perth with her husband, daughters, and a 16-year-old dog.
