Travers McLeod serves as Executive Director of the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, a leading social justice organization he has led since April 2022. Previously, he was CEO of the Centre for Policy Development for eight years, establishing himself as an influential voice in Australian public policy. Travers holds a DPhil and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar and lectured in Politics and International Relations. His career began in public law, working for the State Solicitor’s Office in Western Australia and for Justice Michael Kirby in the High Court of Australia.
