Karena has 20 years’ experience in the employment services industry, in both not-for-profit and profit-for-purpose organisations. 

In 2024 she joined Generation Australia to revolutionise education-to-employment systems and provide transformative career opportunities for individuals from vulnerable backgrounds. 

Prior to this she was the CEO of Jobfind and uLaunch. Karena has also held Chief Operating Officer and National Operations Manager roles, as well as people, culture, quality, governance and compliance executive management roles. 

She has held a number of Non-Executive Director roles on Boards, including being an industry elected Director on the National Employment Services Association Board. She is currently a Non Executive Director with the Blacktown District Soccer Football Soccer Association and Reclink Australia.
