Andrew Heinrichs is an experienced health and safety professional who has worked in high-risk industries including petroleum, mining and community infrastructure.

He is chair of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety Policy and Advocacy Committee. The Committee considers and develops policy responses and submissions to represent and advance the interests of the occupational health and safety (OHS) profession across Australia, to affect positive OHS outcomes.

He is also Director, Safety at the Community Safety Building Authority which designs, procures, builds and upgrades infrastructure to keep Victorian communities safe.
