Martin has an academic career spanning four decades, with roles at six universities across three continents, including Deputy Vice Chancellor of Engagement and Executive Dean of STEM disciplines.

Now a strategic consultant and founder of HEDx, a global higher education advisory organisation, he is an influential thought leader shaping the sector’s future.

Martin is also an author of three books: ‘The New Leadership Agenda’, ‘The New Learning Economy’ and ‘Changing Higher Education for Good’. And host of the HedX | The Higher Education Experience podcast which investigates global higher education innovations, opinions, strategies and experiences across the sector.
