Lee Hickin is the Executive Director of the Australian National AI Centre, where he leads the nation’s efforts in advancing artificial intelligence. With over 30 years in the technology industry, Lee is a recognised leader in AI policy and technology advocacy. He previously served as the National Chief Technology Officer for Microsoft Australia, where he was instrumental in shaping the responsible AI landscape and led AI policy initiatives across Asia. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business and Information Technology from Bournemouth University.
