Kit McMahon has two decades of experience across education, training and not-for-profits. She has consistently and passionately advocated for gender equality and empowering women and girls.

She is the National Co-Convenor and National Co-Treasurer of Women in Adult and Vocational Education (WAVE), the network of women involved in VET, adult and community education, and the broad field of work-related education and training.

In addition, she is CEO of Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE), an organisation that provides health information, education, and advocacy to women and health professionals in the region. She is also the Chair of Tradeswomen Australia.
