Future Skills Organisation has appointed Brendan Hopper as Interim Chair of the Board, taking over from David Masters.

David has recently joined Anthropic and has made the decision to step aside as Chair and take a leave of absence from the FSO Board while Anthropic is involved in active discussions with the Australian Government. 

Brendan has served as an Independent Director of FSO since 2023 and brings extensive experience across technology, workforce development and digital transformation. He currently serves as Chief Information Officer for Technology at Commonwealth Bank and has been a long-standing advocate for building Australia’s technology and digital capability.
