Dr Liam Byrne is the Future of Work Policy Officer with the Australian Council of Trade Unions. In this role, Liam has a particular focus on policy development in relation to the introduction and utilisation of Artificial Intelligence and associated technologies within the new digital ecosystem in Australian workplaces.

Liam’s research background is in the fields of political history and political economy. Liam has authored two books and is an Honorary Fellow in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne.
